Chasing Ice.

James Balog’s remarkable quest to capture the retreating glaciers of the northern hemisphere in time lapse photography is the subject of this riveting and much-heralded film by Jeff Orlowski. Jim is a long-time client -- we’ve worked on several of his previous books, especially the Tree book that is extraordinary. But working with the Chasing Ice film producers on the website and other graphics has been a pure joy. The film is winning all kinds of awards, deservedly so. Jim’s point is so powerful -- namely that most of us can’t really see the climate changing in front of our eyes. This film helps solve that problem. It’s playing around the country at film festivals -- just played at Sundance London and this coming week at the San Francisco Film Festival. It will also be on National Geographic television. There’s an tab for upcoming screenings on the website home page. Don’t miss it.
