About

Work with a purpose

We make a difference for clients who make a difference. After 35 years, yeah, it’s kind of our thing.

To make a difference, you have to be different.

We focus on what matters. We place a premium on cultivating meaningful relationships, embracing our curiosities, and crafting work that nurtures community karma.

We’re a Certified B Corporation. The highest standard for corporate social responsibility, this certification preaches what we’ve practiced since day one: use our business as a force for good.

We’re nimble. We want to work with anyone who’s as determined to grow the good as we are. From purpose-driven products and nonprofits to foundations and local government, if your goal is to create positive change, we can (and want to) help you do it.

Meet the team.

In our spare time, we work with the nonprofit community, serve on boards, volunteer, and on occasion, tube to work. We’re proud of how we infuse those personal passions into every project to deliver work that exceeds expectations.

Our Team

Judge us by our work — or by our shoes.

  • Erin Coldiron

    Erin Coldiron

    Designer

    Erin Coldiron

    Designer

Erin shattered her left wrist attempting to stay upright on hot pink Barbie roller skates at the tender age of six but has since recovered enough to design nice things. She brings 5+ years of specialized experience in brand identity, environmental graphic design, and signage + wayfinding to the Vermilion team. In addition, after receiving (soul-crushing) criticism by a primary school teacher for poor handwriting, Erin has a strong eye for typography design and custom lettering, leading her to teach local hand lettering courses. She’s excited to bring this skillset to the forefront of her client designs at Vermilion. When she’s not obsessing over the minuscule adjustments of the space in between letterforms, she can be found playing tug with her spirited Aussie pup, Paxton, camping in the Rocky Mountains, whipping up delicious food, or picking up new skills while traveling the world (learning to drive stick-shift in a camper van of the backroads of Iceland, anyone?).

    Carly Wilkins

    Digital Marketing Director

Carly brings more than 13 years Digital Marketing experience to Vermilion. An avid live music fan, Carly transitioned from publishing to live entertainment where she developed digital communication strategies for Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, and the Beacon Theatre. Most recently she managed brands in the professional photography industry, but in all honesty, she’s most excited to talk about her experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay. • Craig Spalding

    Craig Spalding

    Business Development + Marketing Director

    Craig Spalding

    Business Development + Marketing Director

Craig’s love for food may have led him to the natural products industry, but it was his passion for consumer insights and growing better-for-you brands that made him stay. He has worked on every aisle of the store during his marketing career, starting in the natural grocery landscape, then in-house at 1908 Brands where he helped create and manage six natural CPG brands. After that, Craig’s love for art and pop culture took him to Kidrobot where he worked with strategic partners including The Met, The Smithsonian, Andy Warhol Foundation, Arte Star, In-N-Out, Sonic Drive-In and others. When he’s not exploring the aisles of a grocery store (some call it research), you can find him exploring Colorado with his mutt, Margot, reading sci-fi into the wee hours of the night, writing in the third person, or watching a completely *ahem* normal amount of television.
