Make the most of every moment

for University of Colorado Continuing Education

Despite the challenges the pandemic presented, CU Continuing Ed strengthened its position to provide and promote flexible learning options for its students. Vermilion led a socially distanced photo shoot with masked students at the beautiful CU Boulder campus to ensure the digital and print collateral felt relevant and authentic.

Own Your Journey

CU Continuing Ed tasked Vermilion with developing messaging and building awareness around their Own Your Journey program, which offers a wide variety of services to students at various points in their academic career. Supported by Vermillion’s creative and strategic teams, digital marketing was able to drive 11.4 million impressions during the 2020 calendar year while bringing over 22,000 new users to the program page.

Requiring a minimum number of applicants to run the Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership program, Vermilion planned and executed a campaign focused on direct response to drive applications. Despite challenges facing higher education around COVID-19, the campaign drove a 13% increase in RFI Submissions over a 6 month period with a 69% increase in Conversion Rate.

Use Your Summer to the Fullest

CU Summer Session campaign “Use Your Summer to the Fullest” shows both sides of summer in Boulder — the academic rigor of CU combined with the unique facets of Colorado outdoors. The digital and video ads highlight real CU students enjoying their favorite summer activities in and around Boulder.

A Program for Every Interest

One of CU Continuing Ed’s standout offerings is their diverse selection of academic programs. Vermilion crafts unique digital campaigns tailored to each program audience featuring compelling imagery and niche targeting strategies to encourage prospective students to learn more.
